The Mayor Reads John Irving! October 23, 2008

John Irving is the 2008 Nashville Public Library Literary Award honoree. Celebrating Irving’s upcoming appearance at the Ryman Auditorium on November 8, and our citywide read of his work, Short Story Lunch Hour welcomes special guest reader Mayor Karl Dean.
The Mayor will read selections from his favorite author’s books including A Prayer for Owen Meany and Cider House Rules. Join us for this special event and feel free to bring a lunch!
