The Masterclass Series - Slava Grigoryan May 4, 2011

Throughout the Masterclass Series, international musicians of the highest standing will work with students from the Elder Conservatorium. The series gives members of the public the chance to see and hear students being instructed by some of the best musicians in their fields.

This first masterclass is a wonderful opportunity to see and hear young guitarists work under the guidance and inspiration of Australia's very own classical guitar virtuoso, Slava Grigoryan. At just eighteen years of age, Slava Grigoryan toured with legendary guitarists Paco Peña and Leo Kottke. In 1998 he was named Young Australian of the Year and has since performed with many of the world's leading orchestras.
