The Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel & Residence, is hosting a special “NEO”- Year celebration on December 31 at NEO, where guests can revel in the last hours of 2009 over fine dining, champagne and dancing. Two seatings will be available at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The 6 p.m. seating is $75 exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity. The 9 p.m. seating is $95 and includes dinner, a champagne toast at midnight and dancing to the sounds of renowned sounds of The Joe Gransden band, featuring Dr. Geoffrey Haydon. Guests can be swept off their feet on the custom dance floor as Haydon leads the jazz quartet in festive rhythms for ringing in the new year. Haydon has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, China, Japan, South America, and Central America. He has been heard with world renowned musicians including Bobby McFerrin, Eddie Gomez, The Moody Blues, Eddie Daniels, and Aretha Franklin.

For their final meal of the year, guests will indulge in a decadent prix-fixe menu with tantalizing items including Chilled Lobster & King Crab Salad over gathered greens topped with candied kumquat and saffron essence and Braised White Oak Pastures Short Rib over herb gnocchi with a truffle oxtail jus. For the grand finale, fitting for the last desserts of the year, the following delights are will appease every sweet tooth: Pear- Fennel Tart Tatin with star anise caramel, Toffee Pudding Cake topped with white chocolate crème and Passion Fruit Ricotta Cheesecake complemented by a macadamia crisp.
