The Manhattans is one of those classic R&B vocal groups that managed to achieve incredible career longevity by adapting their style to fit changing times. This group is known for hits likes 'Kiss and Say Goodbye' and 'Shining Star,' among others. In 1999, the group was inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame, and in 2001 they released 'Even Now,' their first studio album in almost 15 year. Fast approaching their 50th anniversary, The Manhattans continue to tour regularly and release new albums, the latest of which is 2008's 'Men Cry Too.' The quartet consists of original members Gerald Alston and "Blue" Lovett, along with newer singers Troy May and David Tyson.
