The Main Street Slam January 30, 2007

The poetry scene in Vancouver is so strong that two bold and noble individuals have decided to start up a second poetry slam night. Sean McGarragle and Trevor Spilchen have decided one slam in Vancouver is not enough.

This event will have a different format and more cash prizes to give away than the regular slam at Cafe Deux Soleils.

At the Main Street slam 8 poets are chosen and then split into pairs to go head to head in competition for a chance at the $100 first place prize.
