The Lost Elves December 19, 2008

Connecticut Children’s Theatre, the professional theatre in residence at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, present this new musical. A warm and fuzzy traditional holiday concert is abruptly interrupted by a few elves who lose their way and crash into the theatre. As the dazed and stunned elves walk on stage interrupting the concert, the audience discovers they are lost and have to wait for Santa to arrive and take them back to the North Pole. Without losing a beat and taking advantage the situation, the elves, through songs and stories about Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, introduce the audience to holiday celebrations they have witnessed throughout the world. And yes…that special roly-poly guest decked out in red and white does arrive to take the elves home.
