According to Cathy Davis, Marketing Manager, “Pinnacle Hills Promenade takes seriously our responsibility to maintain quality of life for future generations. We have begun programs to help sustain a healthy environment through our responsible use of energy and waste management. We are prioritizing by environmental impact.

We believe we can make important contributions to solving the problems of climate change and energy dependence by better managing energy consumption at shopping centers. Where waste management is concerned, our first focus area is waste generated by our property operations and the operations of our stores, both of which have large-scale impacts.

We are reviewing all aspects of our operations in the hope of developing additional solutions that improve our overall environmental footprint. For instance, when we consider recycling programs, we take into account greenhouse gas emissions generated when recycled materials are picked up and transported to and from our site. By focusing on our own operations, we can have the largest positive impact on the environment.”
