The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2009 North Bay Light The Night Walk September 26, 2009

Join Bay Area residents in Santa Rosa for a celebratory evening to raise funds for blood cancer research with a two-mile walk starting in Courthouse Square on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Light The Night Walk is a festive fundraising event for all ages featuring live music, entertainment, food and refreshments. Walk participants are encouraged to gather the spirit and energy of their co-workers, friends and family and be part of the two-mile moving tribute that literally lights the way to a cure. When the sun goes down, the night sky lights up with red, white and gold balloons to honor cancer survivors and those who have lost their battle.

Local cover band, Band Camp will provide live music at this year’s North Bay Walk. Food will be provided by Mr. Pickles for participants who raise more than $100, and two other food vendors will be available to all participants. With a $25 donation to LLS, individuals can enjoy the evening’s festivities and participate in the Walk with an illuminated balloon.
