The Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Symphonic Band presents Once Upon a Musical Time April 30, 2011

This concert is dedicated to the music that makes our favorite stories, myths, and legends come alive.

New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke will conduct a world premiere. The band will also perform music taken from The Lord of the Rings, Sweeney Todd, and Casey at the Bat, among others.

Additional guests include world renowned tubist Marcus Rojas and Broadway star Tituss Burgess.

There will be a special pre-concert discussion at 7:15 p.m. hosted by NY1 Theater Producer Frank DiLella
