Open to everyone whether you are already an active member of the openstreetmap community or just curious to find out more about the project. Have a go at mapping (e.g. with a pencil & a printout), or just come along and join us in the pub!
OpenStreetMap is a project to create a map released with an open content license. It's created by people like you. We need your help!
On the Evening of Tues 25h Oct we'll be heading to Marylebone/Oxford Street area. It's a bit too dark for mapping in the evening now, so this is the last one! We'll have a go at mapping just briefly, then at around 7:00p.m. we'll meet up in The Pontefact castle pub
When you get there, you will most likely find upstairs in the pub. There is also a sneaky downstairs. Look out for people with orange hi vis OpenStreetMap jackets, or an OpenStreetMap sign. Also make a note of this: Contact: Harry Wood O7979815O13
So we'll be arriving in the area at around 6:30 to do some mapping. If you're interested in joining in with that, check the website details.
We usually get about 10 people coming (more than signed up here)
