The Last Jazz Market of the year November 23, 2011

We're going to be ending the year on a high with some interesting new concepts, big band music and of course, a jam session for you all to take part in.

MO JAZZ ORCHESTRA
The Jazz Market's always been a blowout whenever this 17 piece orchestra has played. Previous residents of the Cross Kings, this is a big band packed with loads of energetic funk, jazz and swing tunes. Your last chance to see this dynamic band perform this year, so come and see what all the fuss is about.

MIMIKA MAK MURTIC ENSEMBLE
True artisans make up this ever growing and adapting ensemble. Based on the compositions of Mak Murtic, they will play through progressive suites written entirely about human evolution and the exploration of Mars. Since they played with us last year they have graced the stages of some prolific jazz venues, so we can't wait to see how they've come along.

SENA QUARTET
Our loyal house band have been a real joy to watch over the year. These talented young graduates from Middlesex University will play a variety of music ranging from classics to original compositions. Lots of groove and lots of energy make for a great performance by these tight musicians.

Jam session:

After the performances you will all be welcome to jam with SENA QUARTET into the night. All styles are welcome, you can run through standards or just improvise, they can handle anything!
