Join Tom Simpson, McHenry County Conservation District, and Cindy Crosby, National Parks Ranger, steward and poet, to explore the relationship between humans, fire and the Illinois landscape Thursday, March 14 from 7-8:30 p.m. Explore the history of fire, the ecological need for fire in our natural areas and delve into human relationships to fire through selections from nature literature.
