The Krewe of Brid(say breed),Lakeview's all-female marching club will makes its second annual march with the sports theme: "Brids Got Balls." The march starts at 6:00pm on Friday, February 6,2009. The route begins on Harrison Avenue at the Orleans Avenue Canal and proceeds on Harrison Avenue to Milne Blvd., then returns on Harrison Avenue to the Orleans Avenue Canal. Featured will be Phyllis Montana-Leblanc(Brid of the Spirit-Goddess of Arts & Letters) from Spike Lee's HBO Documentary; "When The Levees Broke."
