Born to a wealthy and powerful family working in international high finance and destined to work in the family business, Andrea is awakened to passion and love while attending a concert one evening. Antonia, a pianist, stirs the emotions of her listeners with her music and beauty. Against the wishes of his mother, Andrea vows to marry Antonia. But Antonia feels confined in her role as a mother and longs for her old life filled with music and creativity. When she meets a talented violinist, Daniel Chavarria, and resumes playing, she begins to live again. Fearing that this sudden change will cause his wife to be unfaithful, Andrea sees only one solution: he must kill his wife in order to preserve the pureness of their love. This murder is not committed in a spontaneous fit of rage, but calculated by a lucid mind that needs to be absolutely certain of the outcome.
