Founded in 1989, the Korean American Family Service Center (KAFSC) is nonprofit organization that provides bilingual counseling, advocacy and education to families, women, men, children and youth in the New York tri-state area. The Center works to help end domestic violence, resolve conflict, and develop healthy family and peer relationships. KAFSC empowers individuals affected by domestic violence, as well as raising awareness and educating the community at large about domestic violence specific to Korean Americans.
