The Knightwind Ensemble in Concert March 22, 2009

The Knightwind Ensemble is one of Milwaukee’s premiere wind ensembles. Their next performance will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 3:00pm, in Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Schwan Hall, located at 8815 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee.

The spring concert theme is “Déjà Vu”, featuring pieces or composers that have been performed once before by the Ensemble. Past soloist, Daniel Neesley, returns to perform a tuba solo titled Introduction and Dance. The Ensemble’s featured piece is Van Gogh Portraits, depicting some of the artist’s famous portraits, including The Potato Eaters, La Berceuse, The Zouave, The Drawbridge, and Self Portrait of the Artiste.
