Joe Feloni is an instrumental Rock/New Age guitarist. He has released two cds "TAO OF ME" & "QUEST FOR THE SPIRIT" that you can check out tunes from at www.soundclick.com/bands/9/joefelonimusic.htm . Joe's music is filled with infectious melodies that entrance the listener. His guitar playing is a mixture of soul and spirit, technique and passion. He takes you on a journey where his melodies are the soundtrack to your own personal dreams. Joe has been playing in the greater Boston area for more than twenty two years now, as a solo artist and as a sideman for numerous bands. He is also a sought after producer and session guitarist. As a solo artist he and his band have been an opening act for such bands as STEVE MORSE, SCOTT HENDERSON'S TRIBAL TECH and JON FINN to name a few, not to mention being a headliner in his own right. On Joe's "TAO OF ME" cd, Joe wrote, arranged, engineered, produced and performed all the material except for the drum programming done by Troy Velazquez and bass tracks done by Mike Demopoulos on the tunes "MY COUNTRY" & "PUNK PASSION", also wind chimes on the intro of the tune "TAO OF ME" were played by Skip Hoefsmit. On Joe's "QUEST FOR THE SPIRIT" cd Joe wrote, arranged, engineered, produced and performed all the material himself. Joe has received rave reviews for his music and his performance of it. Here are a few. "Killer instrumental!! He blew the crowd away!" (Mixx Magazine) "His music changed my life" (Stuart "Dinky" Dawson) JOE FELONI- Guitar instrumentalist supreme is very reminiscent of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai. I really like listening to guitar harmonies and Joe does it very well. "My Country" is an awesome piece that deserves a listen by everyone. It is a very melodic tune. It is obvious that Joe is bound for the big time with tunes like this in his arsenal. There are hints of Jeff Beck, but Joe's stuff seems much cleaner and more defined than Jeff's did. Having been witness to seeing Jeff Beck being booed completely off the stage, I'm hoping that Joe can pull some these tunes off live. There are a lot of tunes on his mp3.com site and I'm sure there is something there for everyone. My favorites were "Tao of me", "My Country", The Rollercoaster" Blew me away...definitely listen to that one. "La Chaparral" reminds me of one of my favorite guitarists Larry Carlton. Its kind of southwestern jazz, very interesting and haunting tune, I loved it. (http://renegadereviews.homepage.com/page77.html)
