For decades, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra has continued to bring joy to both the young and the “young at heart” through the sounds of history and pure American jazz music. With hits like “Amapola,” “Green Eyes,” “Tangerine,” “I Remember You” and “So Rare,” the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra jumped to the top of the charts making them one of the biggest swing bands of the 1930s and 1940s. The band is still in great demand all over the world, due to the direction of trombonist Bill Tole and the vocals of singer Nancy Knorr, formerly of the Pied Pipers. The energy of the big band, combined with Bill’s smooth trombone and Nancy’s elegant vocal style will surely transport you back to the elegance and pizzazz of the 1940s. Prior to the performance, free appetizers sponsored by Chili’s Restaurant.
