The Jazz Market relaunch! March 16, 2012

Our jazz showcase has now moved to a Friday night in a bigger venue with great sound and a great DJ set by Jazzmoods presenter Gordon Wedderburn after the showcase. Plus lots of draught beer.

RHA STRANGES ELECTRIC QUARTET
This high standard drummer returns to the Jazz Market with his quartet, playing modern eclectic post-bop jazz with Afro-funk influences.

The mighty trio are back with their fast-paced contemporary jazz funk which is guaranteed to blow you away. Furious, intricate and one of the tightest bands we've ever seen.

OLIVIA'S OWLS
More Jazz Market veterans, as Guildhall musician Hedi Pinkerfield and his band enthral and entertain with their smooth contemporary free jazz.

A SWEET NICHE
A high energy, rhythm-based trio who create fervently funky noise with guitar, baritone sax and drums.

After the bands the wheels of steel will be manned by Generation Radio's jazz presenter Gordon Wedderburn, playing some finest UK contemporary jazz until 2am.
