The International Street Cannibals: & March 16, 2011

The International Street Cannibals and guest artists, will present a new concert entitled "&." Tthe International Street Cannibals will be joined by soloists Taka Kigawa (piano), Lynn Bechtold (violin), and Eric Edberg (cello), for an electro-acoustic and multi-genre concert event and will bring together new compositions, classical works and show tunes, with stunning correlatives: juggling, tap dance, beat boxing, devil stick performance, body percussion, and contemporary and improvisational dance. The program features works by works by Hoagy Carmichael, Dan Cooper, Franz Hackl, Lutoslawski, Daniel Palkowski, Cole Porter, Gene Pritsker, Schubert, Shostokovich, and Carl Maria Von Weber; and texts by Jack Kerouac and Theodore Roethke.
