The ins and outs of CO2 capture and storage

Named environmental scientist of the year by Canadian Geographic in 2006, David Keith works in interface between climate science, energy technology and public policy. His technical and policy work addresses the capture and storage of CO 2, the economics and climatic impacts of large-scale wind power, the use of hydrogen as a transportation fuel, as well as the technology and implications of geoengineering. David is a professor at the UofC and currently serves on Canada's Capture and Storage Task Force and is the Director of ISEEE Energy and Environmental Systems Group.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 6:00 p.m.

Costs: Free to YEP members, $5 for non-members.
