The Industry Art Show May 15, 2012

The Industry LIC, Long Island City’s luxury condominium residence from the developers of Silvercup Studios, will host an exhibition of Long Island City’s most promising emerging artists. The Industry Art Show will have an opening reception on Tuesday, May 15th from 5-8 pm, that will serve as a highlight of the week-long celebration of art that is the second annual LIC Arts Open. This year, the featured artists are Jesse Winter, Jeannette Cole, and Kiki Photography.

Jesse Winter’s panoramas from Gantry State Park capture the Manhattan skyline through the seasons and hours, and are hung throughout the hallways of The Industry. Kiki Photography shows their incredible dogs series in the Sales Office, Apt. 6G. And Jeanette Cole’s paintings, exploring the textile and decorations of a royal African garment given to her father, grace the model apartments of 6B and 6F.

The rooftop reception will be catered by Court Square’s own, LIC Market.
