On Aug 26th the festival hits London and will be a stone's throw away from where the term 'Asian Underground' emerged - Talvin Singh's famous Anokha nights used to be held at the Blue Note, which was located around the corner from 333 Mother, our venue as hosted by 'Friction' - the monthly residency of BBC Radio1 and Asian Network host Bobby Friction.

This international event features talent flown in from India, Toronto, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Vienna, and of course Brick Lane - showcasing an array of innovative Asian talent exploring new forms of modern Dance Music.

With performances by an international array of amazing artists including the BBC's own Bobby Friction and Nerm; a collaboration like this has never been seen in the UK before!!!

BBC Asian Network will be broadcasting this event as part of 'Indian Electronica Weekend'. Check the special shows on Friction (Friday 1st Sept), Electro East and Pathaan's Musical Rickshaw (Saturday 2nd Sept) to hear the best of the Festival!
