Photojournalist Lexine Alpert presents an exhibition and artist’s talk exploring the use of photography as a medium for storytelling. Alpert's stories focus on social issues affecting the daily lives of a range of people, locally and globally, from the Fruitvale neighborhoods of East Oakland to street children of Brazil .
