The Human Body December 12, 2012

This hands-on program encourages students to investigate the human body and to explore the five senses. Students look at major body systems including the digestive, respiratory, skeletal, circulatory and sensory systems. Activities include examining prepared blood slides under the microscope, investigating what happens to tablets in your tummy and what is in the air we breathe out. Students will then have the opportunity to build their own lung model to take home and spend some time testing their brain on some clever optical illusions.
