“The Hound of the Baskervilles” Theatre-Hike at The Morton Arboretum July 7, 2012

Unravel a mystery with Sherlock Holmes! “The Hound of the Baskervilles” is July’s “Theatre-Hike.” A mysterious hound has just killed the Baskerville heir, and now the last remaining male Baskerville seeks out the assistance of the famed detective Sherlock Holmes and his loyal companion Watson. Each theatre-hike presents a different scene at a new location on the Arboretum grounds. Audience members hike to each location to enjoy the unfolding story. Low-impact hikes (suitable for strollers, walkers and wheelchairs) are on the first Sunday performance of the month. All ages. Costs for adults $19 ($12 for Arboretum members) and for children $13 ($8 for Arboretum members). Season tickets are available for purchase: Adult $60 ($40 for Arboretum members)/Children $45 ($25 for Arboretum members). Thornhill Shelter.
