The Hodges with The Follow, Love Axe and The Real Numbers LIVE August 15, 2012

These four artists promise a don’t miss night of indie/rock/alternative/pop music at the one of San Francisco’s hidden jewels for live music, the Café du Nord in the Castro neighborhood at 2170 Market Street, San Francisco. Three Bay Area indie bands join very special guest artist, The Follow, at Cafe du Nord on August 15th. The Follow’s music has been called “a spiritual experience” combining radio-friendly rock and an amazing live show. This amazing band from back east makes a Bay Area stop as part of their national tour supporting the release of Building Machines to Reach the Stars, their seventh album.

Opening for The Follow, is Oakland-based band, The Hodges, who befriended with The Follow first in the SL world. The Hodges bring a sense of angst and optimism together in compelling melodies, rhythms and lyrics woven into a unique blend of indie, classic, and avant garde rock all delivered with with soulful, gut-grabbing vocals by songwriter, Robert Keller (aka Automatic Quandary). Also on the bill are San Francisco favorites, Love Axe and The Real Numbers--- who had their “Do the Wiggle” video go viral which garnered invites to KFOG’s morning show to “wiggle” live.
