The trek begins in Lukla at 8,500 feet and will take you for 13 days through remote ancient villages where you will gaze at yaks, wildflowers, mountain goats and the Sherpa people and the mountains. The view from Kalapathar (18,195 ft) provides an awesome, up-close view of the south face of Everest. Monuments erected in recognition of climbers of Mt.
