Learn the fundamentals of the most sensual and elegant dance in the world!

Jason Pollen, Professor and Chair of the Fiber Department at the Kansas City Art Institute, will teach basic tango techniques for beginning leaders and followers. You will learn dynamic contemplative tango structures and vocabulary, leading to inspired, improvisational dance patterns.

Argentine tango is a "painterly," powerfully seductive social dance that invites connection with other dancers, the music and the floor.

What to wear? Comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to pivot, if possible.

No prior dance experience required.
