Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Helps Shine a Light on the issue of Forgiveness through the Online Conference, The Healing Power of Forgiveness, November 5 – 16, 2007

Prince of Peace is partnering with the Wayne E. Oates Institute in the conference, The Healing Power of Forgiveness, in order to facilitate the study of forgiveness. This online conference, hosted by the Oates Institute will feature a presentation by Rev. Rick Rouse, pastor and author of Fire of Grace: The Healing Power of Forgiveness.

In addition, the conference will include a dozen presentations that will serve as the educational focus for congregational leaders, therapists, medical and nursing caregivers seeking to learn more about the importance and the dynamics of forgiveness. The Oates Institute’s Online Learning Center is accessible on the Web from any computer in the world with internet access. The conference will include several forms of participant interaction using the Institute’s “Connected Learning” methodology. While the Live Discussions will be scheduled in real time, the conference is primarily designed to fit into participants’ normal schedules, allowing participants to access the presentations and interact with new colleagues from their home or office computer.
