The Haven Pet Adoption Event @ 4th Annual Swap Shop May 21, 2011

Saturday May 21st, from 9am-2pm, The Haven will participate in the 4th Annual Swap Shop Spring Flea Market and Listener Appreciation Party at The 181 Market and Mini Storage in Fairhope on the corner of Highway 181 and Co. Road 32. The event includes a live broadcast with WABF 1220 AM Swap Shop hosts Lori DuBose and Mark, door prizes, and over sixty flea market vendors. Breakfast and lunch will also be available for purchase, live music from popular musicians will be featured. The Haven will have an on-site adoption event with many of their available dogs and cats.
WABF and Lori DuBose have, for many years, been a great voice for the Haven, informing the public on what's happening at the Haven, providing public service announcements for the events, and encouraging their listening public to help the Haven. "This is a way for us to give back to WABF for all they have done for us; we are delighted to be part of this event," says executive director Mike Graham.
Swap Shop is a free personal advertising show for individuals to call in to WABF 1220 AM to buy/sell or swap items such as cars, boats, lawn equipment, furniture, appliances, antiques, and more. This program reaches all demographic and socioeconomic categories and is utilized by thousands of residents throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. "This year’s Spring Flea Market promises to be even bigger than ever, " says Lori. The public is invited to come shop this giant Swap Shop Flea Market for great deals on a wide variety of merchandise and also a chance to find their next best friend at the Haven. Admission is free!
