The Harvest Foundation of the Piedmont Great Hall August 7, 2009

'The Harvest Foundation of the Piedmont Great Hall' will welcome visitors with a vast assortment of fascinating pieces. Towering above will be the enormous skeleton of an Allosaurus dinosaur while the skeleton of a whale will hang beneath a vaulted ceiling of skylights. The great Hall will be a room of extremes -- giant fossils and tiny specimens intermingling just as the past and the future are brought together here. Windows offer a peek into the museums active laboratories where researches will work. Multi-media information centers, displays and graphic presentations will greet visitors at every turn.
