The Grownup Noise - Alt-pop, folk meets grunge August 8, 2009

Boston's The Grownup Noise bring their Alt-pop music to Seattle's Comet Tavern along with In The Drink and Ockham's Razor during the 2009 US tour.

The Grownup Noise's sound is describe as folk meets grunge, drums meet cello. They blend element of jazz, roots, rock and folk together.

Ockham's Razor has been performing hard stompin' Celtic rock since 2006 and has opened for internationally known bands Enter the Haggis, The Paperboys and The Chieftains. Their music has been described as a cross between The Chieftains and The Pogues with some Drop Kick Murphys thrown in.

In the Drink has been described as dark romantic folk and asks is it pure suggestive storytelling or is it Dark Folk? Its music that takes you places or brings them to you. Its fictitious writings, its truths woven in one hand then thrown away with a glance into both vision and chance.
