The Great Teddy Bear Roundup Drive December 13, 2008

The "Teddy Bear Roundup" drive will be collecting small to medium-sized Teddy Bears during and leading up to the drive on December 13th. Teddy bears will be donated to the Tampa PD, Tampa Fire and Rescue and Metropolitan Ministries, who will use the bears to comfort children experiencing traumatic or stressful situations. Each year, police and fire departments across the country collect teddy bears to donate to hospitals, child protective agencies or to hand out to children they encounter every day.

Florida Blood Services will be accepting blood donations during the drive.

The "Teddy Bear Roundup" drive is a part on an ongoing commitment to sustainable development and building goodwill in the community.
