The Great River Rother Duck Race at Sheet May 29, 2010

See 2000 ducks race down the river! From noon there will be a “Duck Brunch” of hot food and drink from where the race starts. Not to be missed – at 12:30 there will also be a “Best Dressed Human Duck” competition and a draw at 1:15pm for the winner to start the race.

The race starts at 1.30pm. from the field at the corner of Village Street and Mill Lane with the duck competitors being launched just before the bridge. You can follow the whole race along the river, which is likely to take 45 mins., to the finish just before Sheet Mill in Old Mill Lane.
