Last winter, as the American economy seized up, the Flea Theater commissioned six rising playwrights to write 10-minute plays for a series titled 'The Great Recession.' The focus was to be on twenty-somethings just out of college trying to deal with the current job market. Performed by The Bats, the resident acting company of The Flea, the plays are by Thomas Bradshaw, Sheila Callaghan, Erin Courtney, Will Eno, Itamar Moses and Adam Rapp.
