The Great Artists Series presents Diavolo January 15, 2009

The thrill and high-risk athleticism of extreme sports meets the grace and beauty of dance when members of Diavolo leap, fly and twirl from surrealistic sets and oversized structures. Led by former Cirque du Soleil choreographer Jacques Heim, this company of acrobatic daredevils pushes the limits of contemporary dance with their heart-stopping aerobatics. Part sideshow spectacle, part physical dance theater, this ensemble of dancers, gymnasts and stunt performers creates imaginative and innovative works that thrill audiences of all ages.
