Three gods come to town in search of honesty and goodness, but find only evil, selfishness and greed - except for one woman, a kindly prostitute who gives the gods shelter. As a reward, the gods give her a tobacco shop, unwittingly making her a target for the misdeeds of others. She invents a male alter-ego to help her survive in an evil world.
