The Golden 50s - Music Show July 13, 2008

In aid of the NGO “At Sanctuary” which supports cancer patients, Satrangi will present “The Golden 50s”, a programme featuring ever popular numbers from the era 1950 to 1959, when great voices such as those of Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, Talat Mehmood, Hemant Kumar, Geeta Dutt, Shamshad Begum and Lata Mangeshkar used to sing for composers Naushad, O.P.Nayyar, C.Ramchandra and S.D.Burman. Songs have been selected from movies such as “Madhumati”, “CID”, “Howrah Bridge”, “Pyaasa”, “Navrang”, “Paying Guest” and “Baiju Baawra”.
