The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA), a support and best practices group for the interactive marketing community, will present its next monthly program entitled “The Glitter of Twitter” on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Riverside Hotel, 620 East Las Olas Blvd, in Fort Lauderdale.
The event includes networking before and after the program with some of South Florida’s top interactive marketing professionals. This event is free for SFIMA members with paid membership and $39 for non-members.

The panel will discuss how to use Twitter and social media and the impact each has on Interactive Marketing. The meeting will address the pros and cons of using Twitter to enhance your marketing campaigns and which forms of social media are best for your business.
Acting as moderator will be Tammy Camp, a serial Internet entrepreneur and extreme adventurist. Her focus areas of expertise lie in social media marketing, pay per click marketing and search engine optimization. Panelists include Chris Tiedje, Promotions Manager with the Sun-Sentinel and Jeffrey Yaniga, Business Development Executive at Pitney Bowes Management Services, and Stacy Gratz, Marketing Manager with H&R Block.
The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association, founded in 2002, is one of 12 Interactive Marketing Associations in the US.
