The Gin Game October 31, 2006

Awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Best Play in 1978, The Gin Game is the story of Weller and Fonsia, two feisty senior citizens living in a run-down nursing home. When self-proclaimed 'card sharp' Weller invites Fonsia to join his regular game of Gin Rummy, little does he realise his winning streak is about to come to an end - in more ways than one.

Starring husband-and-wife team Julia Blake (AFI Award-winner for the film Innocence along with long-running roles in Prisoner, Sea Change and Blue Heelers) and Terry Norris (Logie Award-winner for Cop Shop as well as starring roles in Changi, Stingers and Something in the Air), The Gin Game is a black comedy-drama about coping with the hand you've been dealt - both in life and at cards.
