Self-guided garden tour. Heronswood is a world-renowned nursery and garden specializing in rare and unusual plants, located on seven acres. The ever-expanding gardens cover many different styles, from shady woodland to sunny rock garden, traditional double perennial borders to a semitropical vegetable garden, arbor plantings, and ponds. Art in the garden includes the work of Little and Lewis, Marcia Donahue, and Mark Bulwinkle. No reservations required; rain or shine.
