The Gadjo Players September 18, 2007

The Madison Made Music Project is designed to promote and support local music, while building awareness of the issues of poverty and homelessness in Madison.

Earlier this spring, local musicians were invited to submit an original composition for a chance to be featured on a compilation CD. Over 150 artists submitted their songs. The selection committee chose 15 artists that represent the diversity of local music. Winners were announced in mid-August. The Gadjo Players were one of the 15 chosen artists.

The Gadjo Players - "Eclectic Acoustic" A string-centric quintet, play a mix of jazz, swing, and bluegrass originals and covers, their styles swaying from early 20th century acoustic tunes to electrified fusion from the '70s.
