The Future of Food with special guest Deborah Koons Garcia October 7, 2010

Our first movie screening will be film The Future of Food. I believe The Future of Food is the first documentary that takes a look into what happens when food science advances and corporations are permitted to patent life.

The film also sheds light on a topic that is still not well understood by most people around the world, namely genetically modified foods. The topics addressed are highly relevant today as the FDA considers approving genetically modified salmon.

Deborah Koons Garcia, the Director, Producer and Writer of the film, will be our special guest for Q&A after the screening.
