The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires October 11, 2008

Astor Piazzola’s Four Seasons brings together the tango, abrupt and languorous in turn, with the rhythmic clichés of dance, the counterpoint of Bach, and touches of impressionism. Schubert’s sunny Third Symphony provides a nice complement for the program.
