Meet Tara Bowers of the Foodshed Alliance, a grassroots, New Jersey-based nonprofit organization that is devoted to promoting locally grown foods and farming. Not only does the Foodshed Alliance raise public awareness about the value of local foods, but it also helps farmers find more profitable and sustainable ways to grow and market their products.
