The Food and Water Bowl XV January 27, 2007

The Super Bowl of cat shows, "Food and Water Bowl XV," returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds January 27-28, 2007. Hundreds of fantastic felines will "purrade" their charms before thousands of eagerspectators watching from "the 50 yard line." This amazing array of felines - representing up to 41 breeds -includes world-class pedigreed cats and charming household pets competing for top honors. In additionto the competition there will be educational presentations, show tours, rescue cat adoptions and shopping
among the thousands of items of specialty cat merchandise on sale to make this cat show an all day experience for the cat lover in you.

Southern California's top cat showcase returns with the new feline agility competition. Watch cats race through an obstacle course of ramps, stairs and tunnels, leap over hurdles and jump trough hoops in this timed event. Any cat, pedigreed or otherwise, is eligible to compete. Imagine training cats to do an obstacle course. In some cases the cats are trained but in others the owners seem the ones being trained. But regardless of the feline skill everyone has a good time rooting for all to succeed.
