“The Excitement & Challenge of Vatican II.” March 18, 2010

On Thursday, March 18, Bishop John R. Gorman, will be the St. Mary Immaculate featured Lenten speaker at 7:00pm in the Church. St. Mary Immaculate is located at 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield. Bishop Gorman’s topic is, “The Excitement & Challenge of Vatican II.”

Bishop Gorman D.D. serves as Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He is a lecturer in Religious Psychology, presenting retreats, workshops, and days of reflection for priests, religious and laity. He has been active in Marriage and Family Life programs, Training for Lay Ministry and Parish Planning. A well known leader in Catholic education, he continues to provide support and encouragement to the Bishop Gorman Institute at Saint Xavier University.
