Harpo Marx portrays a deaf mute who while working as a “mechanical man” in a department store Christmas window in a show witnesses a murder, in an episode from television's golden age that will be shown for free at Hagley. "Silent Panic" is from "The DuPont Show," which ran 1959-61 and featured episodes, often shot in a noir style, on DuPont movie film. Also on the bill is "People, Products and Progress: 1975," a 1955 U.S. Chamber of Commerce film that predicted 20 years into the future. Both films will be shown for free at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at Hagey's Soda House.
