Join us for this evening observation to witness the exciting migration of ducks into the 65-acre shrub swamp named Bunker Meadows. Beginning in early September, wood ducks leave the river floodplain marshes and wing their way into Bunker Meadows. Green-winged teals and ring-necked ducks on migration join them. Our ongoing volunteer waterfowl monitoring project has shown the highest number of ducks entering the marsh near the end of October, with over 1,000 ducks counted in one night. We'll identify the duck species as they fly in and listen to their calls as they settle down for the night. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details.
